iCure™ P200 Power Meter Ensures Repeatability of the Assembly Process

Hamden, Connecticut, June 3, 2010 – IRphotonics, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of Infrared-based materials and systems announced a new power meter, the iCure™ P200 Power Meter for Thermal Spot Curing Systems.

The iCure P200 Power Meter is an accurate tool for measuring optical power from thermal spot curing systems. Developed to work with the iCure AS200 Thermal Spot Curing system, the iCure P200 Power Meter is a plug&play modular tool specifically designed for large scale manufacturing environments. It is composed of a power monitor and a power detector. It offers unmatched performance to calibrate and set optical power levels on the iCure.

IRphotonics’ Thermal Spot Curing System Reduces Epoxy Curing Time by Up to 10x

PRODUCT EVALUATIONS OF ICURE™ SYSTEM BY LEADING MEDICAL MANUFACTURERS SHOW A MAJOR DECREASE IN CURING TIME OF EPO-TEK® H20E AND 353ND

Hamden, Connecticut, September 14, 2009 – IRphotonics, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of Infrared-based materials and systems announces ground-breaking results of independent product evaluations by leading medical device manufacturers for its iCure™ Infrared spot curing system.

One product evaluation performed by a medical device manufacturer, using electrically conductive adhesive, H20E from Epoxy Technology, Inc. was conducted in order to reduce the curing time of their medical device assembly. The adhesive manufacturer’s recommended cure schedule of 120oC for 15 minutes in a thermal oven was dramatically reduced to a 1 minute cure using the iCure AS200 thermal spot curing system.
